Shipping/Receiving Clerk I

Summary:
Confirm proper delivery of purchased and manufactured products. Perform receiving
procedures for delivered material via established systems. Determine and perform proper
disbursement of material to stock location, storage or individual. Prepare, route and post
shipments between warehouse and production facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Ship and receive IP's interplant, to outside processors and internal customers. Ensures
accurate count of product.
? Performs receiving procedures for all factory production materials and other
requisitioned materials. Processes all related paperwork and labeling.
? Determines proper destination for materials and disburses materials to destination in an
expedient manner.
? Performs inventory maintenance duties such as computerized and/or manual stock
transactions, order filling and staging, order receipts and close-out, tool tracking log,
shipments log and related record keeping.
? Utilizes packaging hand tools, hand truck in handling and moving of inventory and other
materials.
? Prepares materials for shipment including kitting, packing, skidding and labeling.
? Loads and unloads delivery trucks using forklift and/or pallet jack.
? Maintains an effective dialogue with all employees to foster good employee morale.
? Organizes work areas before, during and after assignments. Is responsible for
housekeeping and organization of warehouse space.
? Uses Connectship for UPS Ground and all FedEx shipments.
? Uses company vehicle to pick up and drop off US Mail at the post office daily
? Other duties as required.

? Limits mistakes by reviewing quality of own work and following instructions
? Can package and ship orders in a timely manner
? Have strong organization skills
? Achieves Safety objective for the plant
Requirements
Required Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation:
? Safely operate forklift
? Must have a valid Driver's License
Physical/Mental Essential Functions:
? Able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
? Able to read/speak in English and follow verbal/written instructions
? Able to count and sort
? Able to interact/communicate with respect of fellow co-workers and management
? Able to push/pull and reach above shoulders
? Able to control operation of hand and/or foot
? Able to turn wrist frequently in a repetitive motion
? Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
? Work environment is clean, work is light duty, routine, and repetitive in nature.
