Shipping & Receiving Associate

This is a fast-paced environment with high expectations where you are rewarded for doing exceptional work. This is a hands-on position working in our warehouse from 7:00a.m.-4:30p.m. Monday-Friday. This position involves processing the shipping and receiving of parts through the Parts Department, including the pulling of parts orders, stocking shelves and directing deliveries. This position is also responsible for the following:

• Controlling receipt of inventory
• Receiving incoming shipments and checking the packing slip with actual shipment for completeness and accuracy before placement in appropriate warehouse location
• Identifying and reporting all overages and shortages
• Stocking parts and accessories in correct bin locations
• Notifying appropriate personnel of receipt of all special orders
• Performing inventory test counts as directed by management
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Operating a forklift
• Maintaining an organized, clean and safe work area
• Participating in required training
• Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask
• Reliably contribute to a positive work environment
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Provide hands on support to team members
• Proven ability to work with a team of people with different personalities and skillsets
• Basic computer skills
• Previous experience in a heavy-duty parts environment preferred
• Excellent driving record
• Current, valid driver’s license
