Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- STRONG COMPUTER SKILLS
- Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to blueprints, parts manuals, company or military standards, and other specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
- Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
- Prepares shipments for commercial conveyance; determines most economical and efficient shipping method.
- Uses UPS/FedEx shipping transactions for parcel and freight shipments.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated understanding of material supply and flow in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently: carry 5+ pounds
- Occasionally: lift 25+ pounds, and push/pull greater than 100 pounds
Education Level: GED or High School Diploma with strong math skills.
