Shipping Lead

Shift: First Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Peak Schedule Varies)

Pay Rate: $17.50 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Train and guide a shipping packaging team for small parcels.
• Lead a team of 5-10 employees (up to 25-50 during peak times).
• Ensure ongoing training for team members to meet changing requirements.
• Act as a communication link between staff and supervisors.
• Coordinate workload with team members and assign tasks per Supervisor’s instruction.
• Manage scheduling, evaluate staff needs, and handle conflicts.
• Perform all duties of Shipping personnel and diagnose problems.
• Lead shifts during peak times for our 24/7 shipping operation.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of one year's experience in a small parcel shipping department.
• One or more years in a supervisory or line lead position.
• Degree or High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience.
• English proficiency; Bi-lingual a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Flexibility to work a 10-to-12-hour shift.
• Flexibility during peak periods. (Facility open 24/7)
