Shipping Clerk

Castellini Company LLC located at 2 Plum Street, Wilder KY is looking for a Shipping Clerk.

This position is Non-Union - Fulltime hourly with a starting pay $17.00 per hour.

The schedule for theShipping Clerkis the following:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday - Start 12:00 pm to finish

Job Summary:

· Manage all outbound deliveries, workflow to the warehouse shipping crew and monitor dock/door utilization.

· Tracking departure times of all outbound loads, monitoring arrival times of outsourced drivers and providing updates to the appropriate departments.

· Maintaining files, scanned documents and other information pertaining to outbound loads.

· Assist with late receiving as needed.

Essential Job Functions and Key Responsibilities:

· Prioritize, wave, and allocate outbound orders in the WMS. Research order shorts and communicate those to the Supply Chain Team.

· Manage outbound deliveries, print BOLs and prepare driver packets for each load.

· Monitor and record load departure times and report any issues to the appropriate departments. Required to use different customer portals for outbound tracking.

· Manage workflow to pickers/loaders and assist them with any issues they may have.

· Primary point of communication between the warehouse, yardmen, drivers and dispatch.

· Assist with inventory tasks and customer requests as needed.

· Setup purchase orders and inbound loads for late receiving when needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Must be able to navigate a webpage using the Blue Yonder and Evavi Web Tools.

· Navigating and updating information in various customer portals

· A base knowledge of our product and how to identify it is extremely helpful.

· Good math skills and attention to detail are essential for the position.

· Experience using a number pad and basic typing skills are desired.

· Must have dependable transportation and good attendance is crucial.

Qualifications:

· Previous warehouse experience is preferred.

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Must be able to work in a Cold work environment.

· Must have strong computer skills and strong attention to detail.

· Must have excellent communication organizational skills.
