Seeking qualified Shipping Associate for Fargo, ND location
MedBridge Healthcare is seeking experienced Logistics and Shipping Associate to work at our Fargo, ND location. This position is responsible for managing the inbounding, out bounding, and shipping of all equipment and maintaining purchasing levels. The Logistics and Shipping Supervisor ensures these processes and assigned duties are followed by all of the department according to Medbridge policies & procedures in accordance with states and federal regulations.
MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy.
MedBridge partners with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive fully-integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.
Primary Duties
· Manages all logistics related to Equipment shipping/return and Purchasing.
· Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.
· Will fill, pull, pack, ship and maintain entire process of orders under direction of Supervisor.
· Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
· Receiving, documenting, opening and unpacking of packages/containers.
· Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined. sequence such as size, type, style, color. And/or product code.
· Responsible for return authorizations for damaged equipment.
· Replenish supplies for other areas.
· Maintain proper data collection and inventory for company.
· Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers by maintaining positive attitude, friendly demeanor, being timely, precise and professional.
· Reading customer orders work orders, shipping orders, and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
· Cleaning and sanitizing of returned supplies.
· Transferring of equipment when being returned and ensure appropriate documentation is completed.
· Preparing parcels for mailing and coordination of pick up and/or delivery.
· Coordinate, prepare and apply appropriate postage for all outgoing mail in the office.
· Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
· Maintain accurate records of materials and/or items received and shipped.
· Working cooperatively with Information Technology Team to receive, prep, image, ship computer systems and other technological pieces of equipment.
· Ensuring warehouse is accessible, clean, and safe.
· Use and maintain software system to monitor orders, tracking and shipments.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
· High school graduate or equivalent
· Minimum two years prior experience preferred
· Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
· Communication skills High school diploma and/or equivalent
· Strong computer skills
· Strong "soft" skills (telephone presence, congeniality, customer service)
· OSHA experience/knowledge necessary
