Privately owned and operated for 21 years, Complete Design & Packaging (CDP) has grown from a small brown box manufacturer into a state-of-the-art sheet feeder plant specializing in high graphic packaging and Point-Of-Purchase displays.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping Office Assistant. This 1st shift position will be primarily responsible for providing accurate and timely data entry into various platforms. This position is located at our Manor Drive location.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the organization's goal of going paperless by meticulously maintaining digital records.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operating system and excel spreadsheets.
Generate shipping labels for UPS and FedEx and ensure shipments meet scheduled ship dates.
Send tracking information to customers for timely updates.
Order stock as needed to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Engage with vendors as necessary for stock replenishment.
Capable of collaborating and working effectively with various departments within the company.
Provide backup support to shipping personnel during peak times or as needed.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations.
Undertake various administrative tasks to support the shipping department.
Assist in maintaining a well-organized and efficient workspace.
Requirements
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience in an office/clerical environment would be ideal.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in data entry.
Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
Must show openness and willingness to learn.
Should be self-motivated and take initiative in problem-solving.
Must possess the flexibility to handle a variety of responsibilities.
