Job Title: Shipping Receiving / Stager
Department: BU170 – Method Development
Status: Full Time - Exempt
Reporting To: Business Unit Manager
Position Purpose:
Coordinates the organization's daily logistical operations for production by:
- Receive customer product.
- Prepare documentation for manufacturing of products in the BU170 Methods Development Cleanroom.
- Preparation of documentation for customers device history files.
- Resolving documentation conflicts between customer and Harland Medical.
- Tracking and keeping inventory of customer product.
- Ship/close customer product and order.
Responsibilities:
- Receive customer product and create applicable documentation; I&I, receiving record. Inform Manager or Engineer(s) early of problems and suggest ways to eliminate or minimize the disruption
- Ensure Device History Record (DRH) is properly created, completed and archived as per Harland’s established policies and procedures
- Compare customer purchase order with specifications, such as quantity, quality, DAP, associated emails and expected completion date.
- Assist and/or create instructions, policies and procedures
- Ensures that all outgoing product orders are accurately recorded in the MPR system and accurately communicated to customers when requested.
Education, Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-year college degree or work equivalent
- Technically inclined
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Knowledge and experience working with ISO 13485 or ISO 9000 environment
- Computer operation skills specifically using inventory control software, Microsoft Word, Excel and email
- Accumulated skills to fulfill all job duties of logistics, fulfillment, and purchasing positions department positions
- Knowledge of FedEx and UPS software
Working Conditions and Health & Safety:
- Heated and air-conditioned office environment, ISO Class 7 Cleanroom, Laboratory.
- Employee is required to use appropriate PPE including, but not limited to, nitrile or latex gloves, lab coat, hair bonnet, shoe covers, beard cover, safety glasses, hearing protection, face shield, or respiratory mask while working in a lab or manufacturing space

Personnel engaged in manufacturing shall obtain training required by ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR part 820, FDA 21 CFR part 210 & 211, and Harland Medical System’s internal procedures, where deemed appropriate per assigned job functions.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on level surfaces for a prolonged period of time. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms above shoulder height and below the waist. This position may occasionally be exposed to areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.

Pay: $19.78 - $23.82 per hour
