Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities

• Perform daily Shipping and Receiving duties, including loading and off-loading trucks, banding, weighing, and packaging.
• Verify inbound shipments for accuracy against pack lists and purchase orders.
• Enter incoming receipts into internal systems and maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with internal and external customers to ensure timely receiving of goods and shipments.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolution of any issues.
• Track shipments and ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed and submitted.
• Generate end-of-day reports to track shipment processing.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Experience with online web-based carrier websites such as Fed Ex, UPS, XPO, SEFL, R&L Carriers, etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to quickly identify and resolve errors.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
