Description:
- Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments. Plan and direct driver's assignments including checking them in, assigning their doors, and checking them out once the load is complete
- Assist with checking in drivers and performing administrative duties for the warehouse.
- Will run BOLs (bill of lading) for outbounds, print off receipts for inbound transactions, enter in customer changes, provide paperwork to Warehouse leads, create orders for inbounds, and assist with maintaining spreadsheets and reports for Shipping And Receiving.
- Must have strong computer skills. Will be using Microsoft Word and Excel on a daily basis.
- Will answer the phone and direct drivers to the correct doors from drop off and pick up of shipments.
- Will work in a fast paced environment - there are about 80 trucks that come in and out every day and this person will be checking in those drivers. Must be comfortable working with truck drivers.
- Will have a 2-way radio to communicate with managers in the warehouse as well and will work directly with them.
- Will go outside to assist with sealing trucks.
