Shipping and Receiving Clerk

We are looking for a full time Shipping and Receiving Clerk who can perform the preparation of outgoing and incoming shipments and ensure the accuracy of all documentation of received and shipped products.

Job Responsibilities

• Generates complete “Bills of Lading” for all shipments
• Bar coding and putting away inventory in the proper locations
• Obtains rate quotes from various shipping companies
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Verifies product quantities/pricing matches purchase orders and invoices
• Builds wooden crates for airplane parts for shipping
• Ensures that packaging all shipments is adequate to avoid any damage
• Creates necessary documentation for all international shipping needs

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience in Shipping and Receiving, inventory management is a plus
• Experience driving forklifts is preferred
• Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Regular and punctual attendance
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Enjoys working independently while still contributing to the team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds at check-in and aircraft loading
• Long periods of standing, sitting, and walking may occur
• Working in periodic inclement weather

Salary Range - $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
