Job Description:As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the final stages of our production process. Your responsibilities will include:

Receiving and Inspection:

• Receiving finished parts with care and precision.
• Conducting visual inspections to ensure the highest quality standards.
• Identifying and reporting any defects or discrepancies.

Receiving Raw Materials:

• Receiving incoming raw materials shipments.
• Confirming the condition of raw materials and ensuring they are in good condition.
• Verifying that we have received the correct quantity of raw materials.

Packaging and Labeling:

• Expertly packaging parts with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Properly tagging each part with its respective part number.
• Generating shipping labels when necessary, ensuring accurate and timely shipments.

Materials Handling:

• Constructing boxes, pallets, or temporary dunnage tailored to the specific needs of each shipment.
• Safely and efficiently moving materials within the warehouse.

Requirements:

• High attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of Shipping and Receiving procedures.
• Proficient in the use of packaging materials and tools.
• Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Experience:

• Shipping & receiving: 2 years (Required)
• Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
