General Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

Department: Operations (Warehouse)

Reports to: Owner

Level/Grade: Fulltime

Hours: 40 hours per week

Description:

Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and fulfilling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Receive product into our ERP software system- SAGE 100: post values, assign bin location
• Create shipping batch for packslip creation in the ERP system, Print pack slips
• Create bill of ladings for outgoing shipments
• Process small package orders through UPS, FEDX, Carrier portal software systems
• Conduct physical and cycle inventory counts, post counts in ERP system
• Issue and Maintain non-conformance forms suppliers
• Monitor high use inventory items and create product requestions to purchasing to order

✓ In order to maintain stocking levels or fill customer orders

• Loading, labeling, unloading, sorting, staging and transportation production into and out of the warehouse
• Supervise part-time warehouse associate to support needs of the department
• Pick product and prepare shipments
• Follow LPI safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same
• Safely operates forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products
• Loads trucks keeping in mind cubic weight, size and characteristics
• Provides and inspires outstanding service to customers. Maintain attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
• Maintains condition of warehouse work area – free of trash, product, etc.
• Additional duties assigned as needed
• Physical inventory product counting
• Physical receiving of product – check pack slips, label and stock racks.
• Create shipping documents – quote carriers, prepare small packages with UPS and/or FedEx
• Prepare and create labeling for outgoing shipments to customers exacting requirements
• Follow all standard work descriptions and quality requirements
• Any additional required functions that are required for this job description

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2 years of warehouse experience required
