We are now hiring for a Shipping Lead:

Direct the work of Shipping/Receiving Department employees to ensure efficient performance of department functions. Purchase necessary departmental supplies and conduct inventory. Assign work to ensure on-time shipments in accordance with the demands of productions schedules. Communicate and coordinate activities with production and quality assurance departments to expedite the flow of materials. Monitor shipping/receiving employees’ activities for accuracy and productivity and department safety conditions at all times. Train employees, monitor their performance and work to improve problem performance. Maintain up-to-date Shipping/Receiving schedules using computerized systems. Perform Shipper/Receiver, Packer and Clerical duties as needed to expedite shipments and meet schedules and perform duties to back up the Department Supervisor in his/her absence.

Candidates should possess good communication skills to work with internal and external customers with 3-5 years of shipping/receiving experience. Knowledgeable in various computer programs including MAPICS, PLMC, browser and Microsoft products. Able to read blueprints to size packing requirements and marking instructions.
