Shift Leader

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high-quality food standards. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all menu items are prepared according to company standards
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and food handling techniques
- Conduct interviews and assist with the hiring process for new team members
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including kitchen, dining area, and restrooms
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving overall restaurant performance

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling regulations and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
