SUMMARY:
Supports Store Manager in day-to-day store needs in accordance with overall company policy and improve commercial performance of store by maximizing profitability and meeting customer demands.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Business:
- Responds to customer service
- Support managing business to attain sales budgets
- Complies with and assures all operational policies/procedures are followed
- Works with Store Manager to understand sales figures
- Open/Close store for business and prepares necessary reports and accountability for register balance
- Updates team/colleagues on business game plan
Product/Merchandising/Marketing:
- Supports Store Manager informing of novelty, apparel and headwear stock needs
- Proper receipt of inventory and operational policies related to inventory management
- Walks floor to identify merchandising issues and/or opportunities
- Organizes promotions, displays and events
Personnel:
- Manages and motivates team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
- May assist manager with staffing, i.e. interviewing & training
- Ensures standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 28 per week
