Sheet Metal Fabricator

POSITION SUMMARY:

Cima Network is a Signage Manufacturing and Branding Company. If you've ever been to Amazon, Top Golf, or Regal Cinemas (to name a few), you've likely seen our work.

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be building various sign types (pylon signs, wall signs, channel letter, awnings, etc.). This will also involve planning, production, and clean-up of client specific signage. You will be fabricating using Aluminum, Steel, and other materials to create individual custom signage.

With nearly endless opportunities to work overtime. Team members in this department are tasked with the creation of all types of signage including Monuments, Pylons, Box signs, Halo Letters, Pan Signs, Raceways and Wiseways.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welding
• Minor prep and sanding
• Bending materials such as aluminum, and plastics
• Some structural and material knowledge
• Utilize shop equipment such as double miter saw, sheer and rakes
• Create cut list
• Read and understand prints
• Basic LED wiring
• Understand how to plan for and execute quality, well lit, serviceable, shippable and easily installable signs for all sign types in reasonable time frame.
• Maintains and documents time worked on timesheet to allocate to the proper work order or indirect labor code

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Mechanical aptitude
• 2-4+ Years' experience in Sign Industry preferred
• 2 to 4 years of fabrication using a variety of materials preferred
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Ability to handle pressure situations
• Have an understanding of computers and technology
• Work in fast pace environment
• Must be able to multi task and stay organized
• Must be able to work in team environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; work with their hands handle, or feel, whether directly manipulating components or using controls on an assembly machine. Employee must be able to talk or hear over shop noise. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time at work tables. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 50 to 75 pounds and move it for at least 50 feet. pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

MECHANICAL / TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Employee must be able to read and understand blueprints, manuals, and work with computers and machines to do their job. Math: Basic math is needed
