Role: Sheet Metal Fabricator IV

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be cutting, bending, punching, shearing, grinding, and polishing Sheet Metal to fabricate a variety of items to include components, tables, shelves, and other products as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

• Supervise all shop activities on assigned shift
• Monitors parts and materials inventory, orders parts and materials when necessary
• Implements and maintains quality control and safety during material handling, cutting, and welding
• Plan, layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines using machinery such as a plotter and or hand tools such as a calculator, scribe, square or tape measure
• Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned

Physical Demands:

Strenuous work including but not limited to: repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, stretching and reaching overhead, standing for long periods of time, and being able to independently lift, push, and pull heavy objects weighing over 60 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to work in outdoors and unfinished/unconditioned spaces without regard to weather and temperature. Must be comfortable working at height on ladders, lifts, and roofs.
