She Media: Part-Time Senior Design Manager

SHE Media is seeking a Sr. Design Manager to provide creative leadership, strategic direction, and hands-on design for SHE Media corporate marketing materials, cross-brand branded content, and O&O digital brand Flow. Based in the New York City office, this role will work with Designer(s), CMO and VP Integrated Marketing to create the visual strategy and materials for the SHE Media brand. This role conceptualizes and manages both design and production for all digital and print materials such as site design, branded content, event design & production, special projects, presentation & proposal templates, and business development materials.
This ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, comfortable working within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, juggling multiple projects with ease. This candidate will be a natural problem solver with proven experience as a strong visual storytelling along with great communication and follow through skills. A passion for the women's lifestyle space and social impact are essential. This role reports to the VP of Integrated Marketing with a dotted line report to the CMO.
Responsibilities Include:

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of SHE Media's corporate marketing initiatives and Flow editorial brand goals. Partner with editorial and marketing leads on the conceptual development of creative.
• Identify & implement optimized design processes for team and project manage all requests. Manage and mentor SHE Media corporate marketing designer and freelancer(s); Collaborate with brand designers create an open dialogue and cross train.
• Continue to evolve SHE Media Corporate identity and assets including solidifying O&O brand identities, presentation template, one-sheets & custom slides, newsletters etc.
• Build, launch and troubleshoot client ad campaigns, following client brand guidelines on strict deadlines and often tight timelines, using Clipcentric and Ceros.
• Oversee visual direction and on-going updates of SHEMedia.com corporate site.
• Collaborate with the video production team to rovide art direction and assets for corporate sizzles.
• Manage and direct custom photo shoots including developing pre-production moodboards, on-site art direction, setup etc.
• Art direct and design special immersive digital destinations utilizing Ceros for both editorial and branded content initiatives.
• Establish visual direction for all events and materials including designing overall esthetic, material templates, overseeing and executing promo materials, working with production companies on event assets and more.
• Work directly with integrated marketing & client service teams on client pitches, mocks, campaign materials, and revisions following client brand guidelines on strict deadlines.
• Manage all premiums and client gifts; identify needs, manage budgets and vendor relationships.
• Create infographics and other branded content assets when required.

Essential Skills Include:

• Strong digital portfolio demonstrating effective and innovative design encompassing 360 creative campaigns
• 5-7+ years of professional design experience as the creative lead at a media company, agency, or in-house advertising/marketing department
• Proficiency in the entire Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Ceros, Illustrator, and InDesign. Illustration skills mandatory.
• Strong understanding of identity, typography, color, layout for digital and traditional media
• Knowledge of new media and technology, A.I. and web3 is a plus.
• Highly organized, and skilled with time-management and workload prioritization.
• Experience building creative teams and implementing new processes is a plus.
• Passion/experience in lifestyle, health, style, parenting, food, etc. and interest in keeping up with design trends to refine skills and improve the SHE Media brand
• Ability to turn complex concepts and data into clear visuals
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively
• BA/BS degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising, or related field
