Approach to Design
LVCK is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a curious perspective of the world and how people move through it. The Senior PM will work alongside the Principals, coordinating administrative and technical project efforts to ensure effective execution to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction. This individual will also assist in responding to RFPs, issuing ASRs, and managing project work plans. The projects range from cultural, civic, and not-for-profit clients such as healthcare, museums & gardens, NY State Parks historic preservations, NY-Metro region libraries, Washington State transit agency, and NYC schools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Principals to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to successful completion.
- Support the design process and team designers.
- Manage project staffing and financials, including additional service requests, invoicing, and other project account management.
- Ensure the design team has adequate resources to complete their tasks.
- Collaborate with team members, clients, and design consultants to create detailed holistic strategies and drive designs from concept to completion.
- Assist in QA/QC of design packages of signage detail drawings, signage programming, and document specifications
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- BA/BS in Graphic Design
- 15+ years of experience in managing EGD wayfinding and signage projects, including planning, design, and documentation.
- Experience responding to RFPs and authoring Proposals.
- Participation in design strategy, master plan development, and interior and exterior signage implementation.
• Experience preparing strategic plans for project success, including QA/QC review.
- Knowledge of Adobe CC and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of standard code - ADA, building, and fire code
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in technical aspects of the project. Understands and can predict workflow best to assign appropriate resources for each phase of the project
- Strong time management skills with the ability to follow up on and balance long- and short-term projects.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. The salary is commensurate with experience and ability, ranging between $125,000 and $135,000 per annum, excluding bonuses and other benefits. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting a resume and portfolio.
