Job Description
Summit Technologies, Inc. has an available position for a SharePoint Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing SharePoint applications around the core concepts of site/portal standardization, business automation, workflow and process improvement, system/application integration, collaboration, knowledge, and content management. This position is based at Fort Benning/Moore, GA. Candidate must have or be eligible for a Secret security clearance (will sponsor).
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop customized SharePoint sites, web parts and portals.
- Translate existing business processes into SharePoint solutions.
- Define technical requirements and design/develop/deploy solutions.
- Participate in specification gatherings with the customer, to ensure that design concepts are transferred into application.
- Investigate and implement OOTB SharePoint capabilities.
- Evaluation and migration of SharePoint plug-ins.
- Build custom workflows, manage permissions and content.
- Provide administrative and technical support including developing system documentation, creating user guides and conducting one on one training.
Experience:
- 5 years of software development and experience in the IT field.
- Experience in ANY of the following: SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, ASP.NET, REST, AJAX, XML, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS3, JavaScript, MVC, PHP and SQL.
- Good understanding of SharePoint API.
- Experience in a Knowledge Management environment is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
Security Clearance:
- Candidate must have or be eligible for a Secret security clearance (will sponsor).
