The Opportunity
The Shared Services Process Analyst will initially work with a focus on Accounts Payable and expand to other functional areas as a key role to help build better, more efficient processes, along with the planning, integration, coordination & management of our electronic process in a high volume and fast-paced environment. This role will be suitable for a candidate with demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement. This permanent position will report to the Shared Services Director NA.
- Business process mapping and recommendations for positive change via automation and/ or streamlined process steps and solutions.
- Drive automation solutions to enhance efficiency in operations.
- Prepare & provide detailed Reporting, Performance Metrics & Leadership updates
- Develop efficiency in existing reports with transactional insights/ analytics
- Identify and advance improvement opportunities, starting in AP and expanding to other functions
- Coordinate solutions with relevant Business Partners and Ownership of the escalation process, including liaising with relevant Stakeholders
- Work closely with Key Stakeholders on Technical Issue resolution and partner with IT support
- Identify root cause technical & process issues with the system, & provide education to relevant parties both internal & external to the SSC
- Initial focus to include and conduct enablement meetings with AP and Procurement teams
- Co-ordination of the end-end analysis of AP functionality and automation, master data and supplier on-boarding, and supplier support and invoicing
- Communicate performance to leadership teams
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience training in a Shared Service or related-accounting environment focused on process improvement.
- Must have prior experience with SAP or a similar ERP System
- Strong MS Office Suite knowledge, including the ability to complete advanced functions in Excel including pivot tables and v-look ups.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
