Job Description
A growing manufactuer of Aerospace, Defense and medical components is looking for an experienced CNC Mill Setup person
Candidate must have 7 years or more of setting up of CNC Mills
Must be able to edit programs and ble to use part programs in MDI mode for milling jaws and other tooling to complete own setups
Able to use Mastercam proficiently
Must have own hand tools and also basic measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometer, dial indicators.
Responsibilities will include:
- Create setups and any required fixturing or tooling for new parts and repeat parts
- Proveout of programs through first article approval and buyoff by Quality Department
- Troubleshooting of any program or production issues
- Assist in quoting of new products from multiple aerospace, defense and medical customers, including any special non-recurring/tooling costs
- Working at direction of the Mill Supervisor and in conjunction with our current Setup/Programming team

- the desired individual must be a team player and be able to take direction and assist in instructing machine operators.
- experience in machining of aluminum, stainless steels, alloy steels, copper, Inconel, both 625 and 718 and Titanium are desired.
