Cnc Setup Machinist

We are quickly growing and currently hiring for a full-time set up CNC Machinist that could take this position to the next level!

What You Will Be Doing:

• Knowledge in operating and setting up machines such as Hemrle, Mikron, HAAS, Doosan, Grobs technology.
• Knowledge of Fanuc Controls.
• Must be able to read and understand mechanical blueprints.
• Motivated and self-directed is a must!
• Good attendance and punctuality required; previous steady, work history a must.
• Must be self-starting, inwardly motivated and pro-active.
• Must be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision.
• Must understand ISO Quality Policies and operate within its specification.
• Strong math skills.
• Coordinates schedules and sets up CNC Machines to meet timelines.
• Documents setups and trains other personnel on proper setup and operation of jobs
• Must be able to perform minor edits to the program at the machine as needed.
• Make sure parts are within tolerance.
• Must be willing and able to set up and operate multiple machines at a time.
• Must be fully capable of interpreting drawings, parts lists, specifications, and client requirements.
• Log in routers into the Epicor ERP system.
• Fill out travelers (part counts, revision checks)
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Do You Have?

• Set Up - 5 years CNC mill experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and understanding of dimensioning/tolerancing
• Able to understand setup sheets and understanding of G&M codes
• Ability to edit machine programs
• Able to use probe and tool setter
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to company policies, quality policies, and industry standards.
