PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As a Convention Setup Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily operations of conventions, meetings and banquets. With a commitment to excellence and attention to detail, we specialize in creating memorable events, from weddings and corporate functions to galas and private parties.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
- Supervise the set-up and tear down of conventions, meetings and banquets in the Conference Center, Arena, Studio Rooms, Hotel, and Pools
- Maintain rapport with clients and Convention Services Managers to ensure client satisfaction
- Attend pre-conference meetings on upcoming functions
- Inventory equipment and supplies in order to maintain proper par stocks levels
- Inform employees of management policies and ensures compliance
- Handle employee and guest complaints with the intent of resolving situations to the satisfaction of all parties
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in Banquets
