What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain policies, standards, processes, and procedures for application support, maintenance, and enhancements.
- Establish and maintain development best practices and standards and provide governance to ensure consistency and compliance across the platform and a distributed developer/administrator model.
- Evaluate current business practices with emerging technology and recommend relevant process enhancements and products that anticipate or complement corporate direction.
- Manage all updates, enhancements, patches, and environment changes with the ServiceNow platform including ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM.
- Oversee and manage the implementation of developed code, configuration, and administrative changes being deployed into all ServiceNow environments and coordinated with established CAB processes.
- Monitor developer’s work and own overall quality and delivery of development.
- Technical leadership for planning, designing, upgrading, installing, testing, implementing, documenting and maintaining the ServiceNow platform.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience as developer or administrator with 3+ years of hands-on experience as an architect, maintaining multiple ServiceNow instances.
- Minimum of 3 years of related software project delivery management.
- Certification in ServiceNow system administration, development and/or certified implementation specialist in one or more product disciplines.
- Demonstrated expert knowledge and experience of project and release delivery management principles and techniques in software application/product development.
- Solid understanding and experience in requirements/scope management, milestone management, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Standups, Sprint Review/Retrospectives.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) foundation certification a plus
- Use and/or administration in ServiceNow ITBM a plus
Experience / Education
Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
