We are seeking a Full-Time Service Technician with previous Commercial or Residential experience to join our Installation and Service Department. Work will consist of service repairs and full installs. AVCO Roofing strives to achieve 24 hours response time Monday to Friday, as well as Saturday and Sunday emergency response if needed.
Must be willing to travel within our service area as assigned by the Production Department.
Required Experience:
- Commercial or Residential Experience
- Experience and ability to install and repair EPDM / TPO / Modified-Bitumen / PVC / Metal Roofs / Shingles / Natural Stone
- Strong Problem-Solving abilities
- Reliability, honesty and integrity in all actions
- Quality Communication Skills (Phone / Email / Text)
- Quality Computer Skills (Basic Microsoft Office / Various Apps / Tablet Ipad)
- Valid Driver’s License in Good Standing (Must pass MVR screening)
- Pass a pre-employment Background Check and Drug Screening
- Must be able to lift 60+ pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders and work in steep/high environments
