The Hospital Delivery Teammate will work closely with his or her manager to define additional goals and objectives:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete inbound trailer inspections as needed and document using Orbit systems.
• Once product is delivered from the warehouse, sort based on delivery locations.
• Scan product using handheld devices and deliver to target locations.
• Capture pictures and / or signatures at time of delivery.
• Learn various hospital routes and delivery locations throughout the health system complex.
• Report to Hospital Delivery Lead
• Cross-train in general warehouse operations.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (“MHE”) such as order pickers / cherry picker, forklifts, and pick on foot as required.
• Responsible for completing work in a safe manner paying particular attention to floor conditions and safe operations of MHE.
• Maintain a positive, team-player mentality and offer suggestions to better team environment and customer service
• Generate continuous improvement ideas that can lead to improved warehouse safety, more cost effective and accurate receiving and shipping, or can enhance the customer’s experience with Orbit.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be organized, able to work independently, and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
• Knowledge and experience using Warehouse Management Systems.
• Highly organized with a careful attention to detail.
• Effective communicator, verbal and written communication, comfortable interacting with customers and internal partners in a professional manner in person and via the phone
• Picking technology: RF scanner, hand-held picking technology.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work while standing, bending, or reaching.
• Must be able to be on foot (standing / walking) throughout the shift.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Basic problem-solving skills to resolve order issues.
• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
• Experience on a sit-down forklift and / or order picker is preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
