Position Title: Install/Service Technician - Loveland
Department: Install/Service
Reports To: Install Manager
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 DOE

Schlosser Signs is a Women owned custom Sign company located in Loveland, Co. We design, manufacture, and install custom signage. We have been in business for 24 years and are continuing to grow as a full-service provider all over northern Colorado. We are looking for a Service Technician to help our company become an industry leader in quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Position Summary:
Installation and on-going service of custom design signs per work order using variety of tools and methods.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Fully inspect equipment/truck prior to each use.
• Load/ unload trucks when necessary.
• Inspect and prepare the site for installation/service making sure specs match work order.
• Install signage using established techniques, including electrical and welding standards.
• Diagnose and service signage as needed or designated per work order.
• When required, connect with customer for signatures and approvals.
• Maintain job site for efficiency, cleanliness and to meet Company safety standards.
• Participate in daily and weekly truck/tool cleaning and maintenance.
• Report material usage and job time for each work order daily.
• Follow all company safety standards including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Attend monthly safety/training meetings.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested.
Requirements
Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Solid organizational skills; able to multi-task and complete requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Resourceful; can devise creative solutions to problems.
• Proper use of hand and power tools.
• Read and write English.
• Speaking-Talking to others to convey information effectively.
• Reading Comprehension-Understanding written sentences and design artwork in work-related documents.
• Critical Thinking-Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Time Management-Managing one's own time and reporting accurately.
• Attend monthly safety training meetings.
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Obtain OSHA training/certification.
• Some installation trucks require CDL.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and move.
• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing 80 pounds+.
• Must be able to lift, squat, bend, kneel, reach, pull and push substantial weight.
• Must be able to safely use a ladder.
• Must be able to work in extreme conditions (-10F-100F).
