Assa Abloy Entrance Systems a true world leader and provider of innovative automatic pedestrian door solutions is looking for candidates to fill open positions in our service sector.
Descriptionof Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
2. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate both written and orally in the English language.
3. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
4. Physical ability to continuously lift and bend, climb ladders, work on knees for extended periods of time and proficient in operating power tools.
5. Understand and work with basic electrical circuits and relay logic.
6. Responsible, adaptable, punctual, and reliable.
7. Able to work effectively and efficiently with little to no supervision.
8. Have and maintain a clean driving record.
9. Have experience in door and hardware industry.
10. Preferable for applicate to be AAADM certified.

Description of Service Technician Duties:

1. Demonstrates company values and our behaviors for the following: engagement & communications, open-minded & courageous, professional & respectful and building the team spirit with all team members and colleagues.
2. Service processes, procedures and protocols are detailed, thorough and in compliance
3. Actively engaged in recommending improvements (upgrades and modifications) to customers to correct and/or improve product performance, functionality, and safety. Provide quotes on replacement of wearable parts and failed safety checks while performing planned maintenance.
4. Maintain company vehicle both in appearance [interior and exterior] and adhering to vehicle maintenance schedule.
5. Maintain clean, neat personal appearance in accordance with company Appearance Policy and representing our brand in a professional manner.
6. Participate in training programs offered and remain AAADM certified.
7. Perform all work in a safe manner for prevention of accidents to themselves, co-workers, and end-user on-site and the general public and property of all concerned.
8. Wear and maintain any/all Personal Protection Equipment when necessary.
9. Ensures that the client relationship is held as priority and all client questions and concern are answered to their satisfaction.
10. Maintains, repairs, overhauls, troubleshoots, modifies, constructs and tests various types of electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical equipment and related devices supporting automatic and manual doors.
11. Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in order to put equipment in operational condition and solve complex problems.
12. Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment.
13. Other duties as assigned.
