Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Directly manage the Service Team and warehouse in support of the Cryogenics and Semiconductor business. This person will be responsible for the output of the internal repair site as well as external client on-site repair. The ideal candidate has people management experience as well as a technical background. Will need to be able to troubleshoot equipment as well as read schematics and have a working knowledge of HVAC equipment and other mechanical tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct team members in the repairing, trouble shooting, and maintenance of Client equipment to include cryopumps and other products.
- Determine schedules, sequences and assignment for work priority, quantity of equipment and skills of personnel. Monitor employees’ work levels and review work performance.
- Responsible for failure-cause analysis, and other data analysis.
- Correspond with Client Heavy Industries and other affiliated companies to stay abreast of the latest changes, upgrades, and maintenance revisions to Sumitomo products.
- Maintain strong customer relationships which may include extensive travel both domestically and internationally with little to no notice to provide service at customer facilities.
- Compute estimates and actual costs of factors such as materials, labor, or outside contractors.
- Confer with various professionals (management, engineers, quality control, customers, etc.) to coordinate work activities, resolve employee grievances, or identify and review resource needs.
- Perform skilled repair or maintenance operations using equipment such as hand or power tools, hydraulic presses or shear, or welding equipment.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, or job orders to construct templates and lay out reference points for workers.
- Inspect, test and measure completed work, using devices such as hand tools or gauges to verify training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules. Ensure all on-site tools and equipment are within calibrated standards.
- Responsible for requisition of materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts.
- Develop, implement, or evaluate maintenance policies and procedures.
- Partner with Management team to assist in the buildout of a new warehouse and service facility.

- Required Qualifications:
- Educational level – Minimum of Associate’s degree in a technical field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Years of experience 5 years of experience managing at least 5 subordinates.
- Training in HVAC required.
- Valid Driver’s license at the time of employment and to be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
- Ability to pass a background check and/or clearance at time of hire and as required by Customers is a necessity.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
