Position Summary:
As a Service Quality Blade Technician, you will be responsible for performing site audits and blade inspections on processes and blade equipment, as well as managing non-conforming components and/or processes at various sites in North America.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the services provided to the customer meet internal, external, and regulatory requirements.
- Organizes, performs, and coordinates inspection activities at the wind farms.
- Employs statistical analysis to analyze methods of inspection, testing, and Service Quality; evaluates records and prepares reports for quality, engineering, or management, including results, conclusions, and recommendations
- Performs supplier qualification and continuous improvement audits.
- Manages non-conformities and serial claims for Service's service suppliers.
- Supports Safety to provide an adequate and safe working environment
- Leads the resolution of Service's quality problems through disciplined problem-solving methods.
- Assures compliance with company quality practices
- Generates and presents periodic reports to the management team
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:
- High School Diploma required.
- Degree in technical or engineering field preferred.
- ASQ Certified and Certified ISO auditor preferred.
- 5 years of equivalent experience in Quality Assurance with electrical control systems, mechanical components, power generation systems, metal fabrication, castings, forging, or composite materials.
- Demonstrate knowledge in ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints
- Computer skills to include MS Office
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of service processes (Operations, Maintenance, Customer Responsiveness, and Engineering) and quality assurance principles
- Ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels internally and with supplier leadership
- Professionally represent the company when dealing with domestic and international suppliers
- Demonstrated ability to organize/prioritize work, meet deadlines, and prepare plans and reports
- Able to work independently
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Passport and ability to travel internationally.
- Ability to meet specific OSHA and ANSI weight limits of 265lbs. max.
- Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver's license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver's abstract checks to confirm continued insurability.
