Summary
Reporting to the CS&I Regional Director or CS&I Sales Manager, the CS&I Regional Sales Engineer is primarily responsible for supporting all sales efforts related to the CS&I business for their respective region. This will include assessing the Regional TAM, developing a Regional Sales plan aligned with corporate strategy, and executing the plan. The ideal candidate will function as a highly skilled entrepreneur who will lead the CS&I sales efforts for their assigned region, engage directly with customers to understand their needs, and collaborate within the matrix organization supporting his / her plan, to resolve barriers undermining the effectiveness of selling strategies and close impactful sales deals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for selling all of Customer’s’ CS&I products in an assigned territory, industry segment, and/or account and successfully meeting revenue targets and other company goals.
- Technical and commercial proficiency with CS&I roadmap (current and future products). Ability to communicate the integration of the product mix to maximize customer value & revenue potential..
- Provide accurate forecast visibility and address deviations that might affect current and future performance.
- Aftermarket Product line/segment strategy definition, requirements analysis
- Demonstrate the ability to integrate high-value products of innovation with spares, consumables, and repair.
- Collaborate with the extended Regional Sales team to combine new system sales with CS&I products for long-term agreements to protect and preserve aftermarket business.
- Assist in the development and deployment of account and territory plans, completing call plans, driving completion of CS&I product selling action items, and acting as a customer advocate concerning internal Customer functions.
- Identify customer solution opportunities across all Customer’s CS&I products.
- Collaborate with Customer Satisfaction and Account Management to collect data and resolve high-level problem-maximizing CS&I solutions.
- Provide quantitative reports that align activities with revenue targets and the status of such for all CS&I product offerings (such as but not limited to used tools, upgrades, training, parts, spares, repair, and other service contracts)
- Maintain updated system status (CRM) for all opportunities.
- Participate in monthly CS&I Sales team meetings to ensure alignment between local sales activities and organizational direction.
- Customer escalation management/coordination as it relates to CS&I product sales.
- Development of “voice of the customer” system and implementation of regional feedback into the CS&I product line organization

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 5+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree preferred: Technical Degree, Masters preferred.
Certificate/Licenses/Special Requirement
Travel on short notice. Percent of travel required up to 50%.
A valid passport and driving license.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English sufficiently to perform job functions.
In-depth knowledge of the worldwide semiconductor industry, global accounts, and Customer’s Global Support Business. Customer’s product knowledge is required. The person has or will acquire knowledge of the Customer’s' internal support processes (e.g. INSIGHT, etc.) and accepts responsibility to overcome and/or improve weak processes to satisfy the customer. Ability to effectively operate word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database software. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Salary 70% Base and 30% Commission with the ability to increase to 50%.
