Job Description
Responsibilities
- Complete service calls on new residential homes and apartment units including replacement of water heaters, sump pumps, sewage pumps, etc.
- Complete finish on new residential homes and apartment units including the installation of plumbing fixtures, water heaters, appliances, etc.
- Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, water supply, and gas systems
- Inventory and management of material
- Maintaining a clean and safe jobsite
- Cut, assemble and install piping with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
- Maintenance and repairs on water supply systems (PEX-A, PEX-B, CPVC)
- Maintenance and repairs on gas systems (Tracpipe, Black Iron Pipe)
- Maintenance and repairs on waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems
Skills
- Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly with a great deal of patience
- Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
- Willing to learn the plumbing trade with a goal to enroll (employer paid tuition) in trade school
- Valid driver's license
- Valid plumbing license

We are looking for an experienced and licensed service / finish plumber. A successful plumber must have a thorough knowledge of water, DWV, and gas systems. They are patient individuals with a practical mind and manual dexterity, able to work efficiently with great attention to detail. The goal is to install and maintain well-functioning systems that transport water, waste, and gas. Starting pay will be based on experience.
