Immediate need for an experienced Field Service Mechanic / Millwright for an extremely stable water pumping solution company that's nearly 100 years old. This company specializes in vertical turbines, split case & suction pumps, self-primers, prop pumps and flow pumps.
The Field Service Mechanic / Millwright will assist field Service Mechanics with installations, repairs, & troubleshooting new and/or old equipment, electrical, hydraulic, and/or any mechanical issues.
The Field Service Mechanic / Millwright works with no supervision and is knowledgeable in the repairs, servicing, & maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess advanced troubleshooting skills for their related field and be well versed in accepted industry standards of repairing industrial equipment. Some overnight travel (max 2-nights a month) is required and all travel expenses are covered.by the company.

- Starting Wage: $32.00 - $38.00 an hour DOE

Responsibilities of the Field Service Mechanic / Millwright position includes:
- Knowledgeable in the repairs & maintenance of industrial equipment including but not limited to electric motor, hydraulic, PLC logic controls and/or electrical systems.
- Electrical repairs and/or replacement of control devices, including circuit boards and control panels.
- Working around 240/480 Phase III voltage industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoots and sometimes performs routine maintenance and repairs to industrial manufacturing equipment
- Proficient working with blueprints and/or mechanical & electrical schematics
- Communicates effectively with other Service Mechanics in person.
Qualifications for the Field Service Mechanic / Millwright position includes:
- Minimum of 5-6 years' experience servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment. Previous heavy construction equipment troubleshooting & repair experience will be considered.
- Previous troubleshooting experience that should include mechanical, hydraulic and electrical as it relates to industrial equipment or heavy construction equipment found in the field.
- Must have basic welding experience. MIG & stick experience preferred but no certifications are required.
- Current Utah Class A CDL driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
- Previous OSHA Crane operator certification is desired. Mobile Crane experience, 5k pounds to 70k tons is preferred
- Most own a set of tools comparable to your experience.
- Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical diagrams is required.
- Lock Out/Tag Out procedure experience with 240/480 phase 3 voltage is required.
- Availability to travel away from home for 2-days a month.
