The Nines, located in Noho NYC, is a dynamic supper club, cocktail and piano bar from Golden Age Hospitality - the team who brought you Le Dive, ACME, Happiest Hour and Deux Chats.
We are currently seeking a talented, highly experienced , hospitality driven Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable workng in a fast paced nightlife environment , and willing and able to roll up their sleeves in all aspects of service and operational procedures.
Some responsibilities of the Service Manager include:
- Assist with all new hire and existing staff training and materials to include menu dish descriptions, service manual updates, and follow up on on-going trainings
- Lead by example and coach , mentor , and motivate the team to perform at their highest potential
- Assist FOH staff during service and oversee the flow of entire restaurant by being present on the floor.
- Actively particpate in performance management meetings and ensure standards are consistently being met
- Conduct educational and motivational preshift meetings
- Ability to diffuse challenging guest situations with patience, understanding, and tact; and resolve conflicts between service team members.
Position Requirements:
- 3 years management experience in a similar face paced high end establishment
- Strong Commuincation skills and ability to speak in a public platform
- knowledge of wines , spirits , and cocktails
- Experience using POS platforms such as Toast, 7Shifts, Resy and open table
- Proficient computer skills and experience using Google drive
- Must have a flexible schedule and able to work weekends and late nights
