Optima Dealer Services provides Staffing and Consulting Services to the most luxurious auto Dealerships.
Role Purpose:
A Service Valet must keep the Dealership organized, park vehicles in every designated area, deliver vehicles to the Guest, greet Guests upon arrival and kindly direct or route Guests to the appropriate personnel for assistance.
Service Porters strives to provide 5-Star Treatment by delivering exceptional Customer Service to all Guests with a professional, polite, and positive attitude.
Job duties:
- All Valets must follow the Auto Dealership Route with caution, excellence, responsibility, and a sense of urgency for all requests.
- Professional Greetings and positive communication are essential to this role such as It’s my pleasure”, “I understand how you feel”, or “Good question, let me find that out for you right now”.
- All Porters must remember that “once you are ready to be positioned (Clock-in)“means that you are on stage”. This duty is required to smile to all Guests, have a positive attitude, and positive body language, actively listen, must obey Dress Code and conduct. All Guests are a priority and their experience at the dealership must be outstanding and excellent.
- Customer Service 101 Skill: Always go out of your way to please our guests and provide a five stars treatment.
- Kindly direct or route guests to the appropriate personnel for assistance.
- When delivering the vehicle to a Guest at the Pickup area: Park at the Pickup Lane then head over to the Pickup Station to announce the vehicle is ready for Pickup (make to remove any tags, and paper floor mats before the Guest gets in the vehicle). Head back to the vehicle and wait for the Guest to arrive. When the Guest arrives, all Service Valets Provide all Guests with a 5-Star Experience by greeting all Guests with a smile, positive body language, and professionalism.
Kindly open the vehicle door and thank every single Guest for coming to Fletcher Jones Motorcars: “Thank you for coming to Fletcher Jones Motorcars! It was a pleasure to assist you today! Have a great day!” - Prior to delivering the vehicles back to the guest, all Service Valets are required to inspect the Quality control (Inspect the vehicle body, windshield, rims, tires, and inside cleaning). If the vehicle is not Quality Control Approved, please reach out to the Car Wash Department Manager or Supervisor to be rewashed immediately and report to the Key machine and pickup Station.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
- Drivers License for a minimum of 7 years experience.
- Highly responsible, professional, and reliable.
- Unrestricted California driver's license and clean driving record.
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
- Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
- Must be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strive to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments.
