Hybrid Position: After 90 Days 2 Days At Home, 3 Days in Office at either our Brighton or Clinton Township, MI office.

TAZ Networks Inc Service Desk Consultants act as outsourced IT help for our clients. They need to be highly motivated, dependable, and professional. After the first 90 days this position allows for a flexible work arrangement either in the office or remote. Consultants answer service calls via email and phone and work submitted trouble tickets. Our Consultants act as the IT Department for our small to medium sized clients. Most clients are located in a service area 2 hours around our headquarters.
If you are just getting into the IT field from school or are looking to further your career in IT then this position is for you. You will be challenged by different environments and technologies on a constant basis. Providing superior service is a must with responsibilities ranging from answering client support questions to remote network monitoring, troubleshooting and resolution.
Service Desk Consultants are placed on a rotating schedule to monitor and respond to client needs after normal business hours. This usually is once every 12 weeks.
The Service Desk Consultant must be a self motivator who can work by himself, or part of a team, to consult on technology issues while reporting and accounting for all of his time.

Consultants are responsible for their own professional development. Incentives are earned for passing certifications once a year. This demonstrates growth in knowledge and improved competency. Certifications or competency exams may include but are not limited to Microsoft, CompTIA, Sonicwall, and Cisco.
Requirements
Very strong phone and client service skills
Windows Desktop and Server Support experience
Microsoft Office 365 experience
Networks (TCP)
Strong Microsoft Windows 11/10 Desktop Support (general)
Strong Troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently with excellent communication and customer service skills
Must have technical aptitude and technical service skills
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation
Background check, Drug Screen, and yearly proof of driving records required.
