Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience
- Ensure food safety standards are followed throughout the dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Process payments using a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Resolve guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Build positive relationships with guests to enhance their overall dining experience
Skills:
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Familiarity with basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests, kitchen staff, and other team members
- Experience in serving Asian cuisine preferred.
