Responsibilities:

Guest Interaction: Welcome and greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
Provide assistance with menu choices, special recommendations, and any dietary considerations. Create a positive and engaging dining experience for patrons.
Order Taking and Delivery: Take accurate and detailed food and beverage orders from customers.
Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of dishes to the correct tables.
Coordinate with kitchen and other staff to manage the flow of orders.

Service Excellence: Serve food and beverages to guests with precision and attention to detail. Ensure that each guest's needs are met promptly and courteously.
Monitor and anticipate customer needs to provide proactive service.

Upselling and Promotion: Promote special menu items, beverages, and desserts to enhance the overall dining experience.

Billing and Payments: Present accurate and itemized bills to customers.
Process payments, including handling cash, credit cards, and digital transactions.
Provide change and receipts promptly and accurately.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen, cashier, and other staff members to ensure smooth service. Communicate effectively with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Server in a restaurant or hospitality setting.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including ingredients and preparation methods.

Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality.

Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Knowledge and appreciation of soul food cuisine is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 40 per week
