As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing epic experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable time at our establishment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service Excellence:
- Provide friendly and attentive service throughout the dining experience.
- Follow the Agave & Rye steps of service.
- Answer questions about the menu, daily specials, and beverage options.
- Offer personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary requirements.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Efficiently take food and beverage orders from guests and accurately input them into the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks to guests while adhering to presentation standards.
- Monitor guest needs during the meal and anticipate refill requests or additional requirements.
- Promote daily specials, promotions, and upsell additional items.
- Present guests with accurate bills and process payments efficiently.
Restaurant Upkeep:
- Ensure that tables are clean, organized, and set up with appropriate utensils and condiments.
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests depart, preparing them for the next diners.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
- Adhere to alcohol service regulations and verify the age of guests before serving alcoholic beverages.
- Complete side work, including but not limited to rolling silverware, sweeping, mopping, replacing soap and paper towels, emptying trash bins, dusting, polishing, cutting citrus, juicing, wiping surfaces, organizing workstations, cleaning restrooms and stocking materials.
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is a plus but not mandatory. We are willing to train motivated candidates.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
