Server In Fast/Casual Restaurant & Wine Bar

Server needed for Amazing, Fast/Casual Restaurant and Wine Bar!

Our Restaurant Group is looking for a Server to join our team for part-time, dinner shifts in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles. The ideal candidate has some previous experience working with a rotating wine program and has basic wine knowledge. We offer a fun, casual dining environment and seek a candidate who can offer our guests an awesome experience with wine pairings and education.This person will help spearhead our late-night program, showcasing our unique and celebrated wines that are on display for customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the menu and Restaurant services.
• Be an expert on all aspects of our food and beverage program.
• Cross train across all stations and positions in the restaurant.
• Demonstrate knowledge of our Wine Bar program.
• Consult customers on wine purchases as well as up-sell when appropriate.
• Be able to complete all closing procedures nightly.
• Follow established safety and sanitation procedures for food handling.
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Experience:

• With 1+ years of recent experience in an upscale Fast/Casual dining environment
• Have some basic wine knowledge and be eager to learn.
• Be a fast learner, self-motivated and reliable.
• Knowledge of a POS system & 3rd party delivery apps.
• Be skilled at organization, prioritization, and execution.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers certification/RBS Certification.
• Excellent References.

Shift & Pay:

• Must be available to work weekends and dinner shifts, roughly starting at 3:30pm each day.
• Minimum wage plus pooled TIPS!
