We are looking to employ a well-rounded Server Assistant to provide assistance to our servers and ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned, and properly set for customers. The Server Assistant’s responsibilities include preparing and taking beverage orders, cleaning and restocking duties and others.

To be successful as a Server Assistant, you should be well-organized, efficient, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, an outstanding Server Assistant should demonstrate effective communication skills and achieve excellent customer service at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Greet tables and take drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
• Clearing dirty plates/bowls, utensils, and cups from tables as required.
• Preparing tables for the next customers by clearing and cleaning table and setting up napkins and chopsticks
• Knowledge of the menu with the ability to answer simple questions.
• Assist servers with transporting to go orders to the host kiosk
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Ensuring that the server station is adequately stocked with necessary restaurant supplies
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized beverage area
• Working effectively with the entire team to complete tasks/duties
• Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed

Qualifications:

• Bussing experience is preferred but not required
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Sense of responsibility and urgency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Effective organizational, communicational and multitasking skills
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work well with all team members
• Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications

Compensation and additional information:

• $11.25/Hour + Tips
• Bi-weekly paycheck
• 30 - 40 hours a week guaranteed
