SEO Specialist

The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will execute technical, local, on-page, and off-page SEO while regularly auditing/analyzing the firm's positioning against competitors. We are seeking candidates who are excited about the ever-evolving world of SEO and are eager to be an integral part of our law firm's growth.

Job Duties:

• Create and execute SEO strategies that align with our firm's KPIs
• Monitor and report on organic traffic, ranking positions, domain authority, conversions, page load speed, and other metrics, while providing recommendations for improvement
• Perform keyword research
• On-going optimization of on-page SEO
• Oversee website architecture
• Identify and close content gaps with some copywriting required
• Plan and execute link-building campaigns
• Integrate SEO with content marketing, social media marketing, and other marketing/PR initiatives
• Manage SEO-related assets, tools, and platforms
• Perform competitive analysis and devise strategies to surpass competitors
• Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends, search algorithm updates, new SEO tools, and best practices
• Maintain website within requirements of South Carolina Judicial Branch's rules for Attorney Advertising, ADA website compliance standards, and WCAG requirements.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years experience in SEO for service-based industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with standard SEO industry tools
• Familiarity with search engine algorithms and ranking factors
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred. Applicable experience will be considered in lieu of an educational background.
