Insider Intelligence’s Briefings are a suite of subscription newsletters reaching tens of thousands of business professionals every single day. The Digital Health Briefing is delivered to our readers three times a week, and focuses on how healthcare entities can reach today’s healthcare consumer and better allocate their marketing and advertising budgets. We are looking for a Senior Writer/Analyst to join our Digital Health team.
As a Senior Writer/Analyst on the Digital Health Briefings team, you will research, analyze, and write short-form content centered around the news, trends, and technologies changing how US healthcare entities connect with today’s consumer. We cover everything from telehealth, pharmacy disruptors, and Big Tech to consumer behavior, and health advertising and marketing. You will also synthesize your research into longer-form trend reports for our clients every quarter. Your job will be to write sharp, actionable takeaways that can be consumed quickly by an executive-level healthcare audience.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A Digital Health expert who possesses strong familiarity in healthcare consumer behavior, marketing, advertising and pharmaceuticals.
- An exceptional explainer with a knack for figuring out what’s most important in business news and communicating it simply and concisely for a business audience.
- An innovator who isn’t afraid to challenge ideas to make our content better, explore untapped content opportunities, and ideate and execute new content concepts.
- Data driven with the ability to quickly sort through masses of data, find interesting trends, and convey them in a digestible way.
- Team oriented, who thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing collaborative environment.
- A digital trends enthusiast with an understanding of core themes in digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pitch, research, and produce insightful and data-driven analyses in a daily newsletter product centered on the trends and technologies transforming the US healthcare landscape.
- Pitch, research, and produce long-form, data-driven trend reports on a quarterly basis.
- Represent Insider Intelligence by presenting your research findings at top industry conferences, speaking to clients, and participating in webinars and podcasts.
- Provide constructive peer feedback to fellow analysts across the Digital Health team as they develop and produce stories and reports.
- Create engaging data-centric charts and graphics that support your analysis and help tell stories.
- Establish and expand a network of industry professionals in the healthcare/health tech world.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience conducting research and writing professionally about Digital Health topics, ideally with a focus on marketing, advertising, or pharmaceuticals.
- Experience writing on a daily product.
- Experience synthesizing research into long-form trends.
- Deep knowledge of the major healthcare trends and a robust understanding of the landscape.
- Experience writing succinct market research, preferably for a business audience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines and quick turnaround times.
Salary and Benefits:
- Base salary: $90,000-$100,000 (dependent on skills & experience)
