Meade, MD Hours: Regular Full-TimeClearance Requirements:This position requires a current and active Top Secret Clearance at the time of application.What you will be doing:* Provide subject matter expertise (SME) technical support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Windows legacy IT systems.* Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.* Provide support Windows IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client problems.* Provides second level problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.* Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.* Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.* Creates and/or maintains operating systems, communications software, database packages, compilers, assemblers, and utility programs.* Modifies existing software as well as create special-purpose software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications.* Provides technical support to maintain network attached and direct attached storage devices as needed.Position RequirementsMinimum Requirements:Experience:* Ten (10) years of experience* Must possess experience in one or more systems and architectures and associated hardware, software applications, mainframe, mini, or client/server based* Experience in Windows Systems administration is required.* Understanding of DoD security requirement and application of security settings and other commercial best practices such as DISA STIGS.Education:* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university* Two (2) years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelors degreeKnowledge/Skills:* Required Certifications:* IAT 8140 Certification* CompTIA Security + CE or equivalentWhy JASINT?At JASINT we are proud to boast a together we can attitude.
