Senior Windows Administrator - Public Trust

A week in the life of a Senior Windows Administrator: Manage and administer support for Windows 2012/2016 & hybrid Azure cloud environment across site-to-site VPN networks.

Perform remote and hands-on technical system maintenance and software installations in Windows 2012/2016, Linuxand VMware environment of devices servicing users. Support DNS sites (MX records, round robin and zone transfer). Implement automate patching for Test, Dev, and Prod environment via GPOs, IBM Big Fix v10, Automox and Ninite Pro.

Perform object-oriented monitoring of network devices and application performance via SolarWinds and Prtg. Administer and support Microsoft 365 and Exchange 365. Write scripts for specific customer requirements using Win Power-Shell with various fixes to resolve viruses across multiple domains.

Implement remote access solution through deployment of Remote Desktop Server and Gateway Server (for encrypted sessions) and two-factor authentication with Duo Security Consolidate server hardware through deployment of Storage Area Network (EqualLogic SAN) and virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V) Mitigate security vulnerabilities reported through Nexus scans in compliance of NIST 800-53 and FIPS alleviating Category 1-.3 AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners.
