Job Summary:
This leader manages the firm’s largest client relationships and is among the most experienced advisors in the firm.
Senior Wealth Manager contribute to our growth—bringing in their existing clients, attracting new clients, cultivating their network, and eliciting referrals. They also recruit, coach, develop, and supervise other members of the account management team.
Investment management deliverables include:
- Expertly servicing premier client relationships, handling complex cases, and troubleshooting problems that arise
- Collaborating with our financial planners to develop holistic customized plans for clients Teaming up with clients’ tax, legal, insurance, and other professionals to provide comprehensive and aligned financial services
- Retaining all key client accounts and expanding the relationship to the next generation
Responsibilities in developing new business include growing our client base through referrals and business development initiatives and identifying new opportunities with existing clients. Another key accountability is seeking new referral relationships with professionals who fit our profile for centers of influence.
Supervisory responsibilities include mentoring and empowering team members to achieve top performance and to grow professionally, as well as delegating responsibilities for client meetings and other activities (e.g., meeting lead, note taking, client follow-up, etc.) to junior team members.
As our firm industry authority, the Senior Wealth Manager is the trusted financial expert to our clients and employees who stays abreast of industry and regulatory updates, the economy and financial markets, and fraud and cybersecurity threats. This leader also oversees the firm’s advocacy efforts for careers in the RIA industry at local universities and organizations in our community.
Qualifications:
- Have advanced financial planning and wealth management acumen, discernment, and experience
- Possess the high emotional intelligence and/or life experience to help clients accomplish their goals through all life stages
- Bring an existing book of business, preferably in the range of $25 to $50 million
- Are excellent active listeners and communicators who connect easily with people and build trusted, lasting relationships
- Have advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines
- Exhibit a fiduciary mentality, always doing what’s right for the client and maintaining confidentiality in all matters
- Are proven leaders with the ability to develop and mentor managers and employees and to nurture highly effective teams
- Are dedicated to a career as a Registered Investment Advisor, with the interest and
aptitude to ultimately achieve a partner role at the firm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $61,574.00 - $270,000.00 per year
