ComResource is looking for a Senior Vue Software Developer.
This person will be responsible for developing system enhancements and fixes, writing and executing quality testing processes, liaising closely with business users, and supporting the adoption of cloud technologies. The candidate should have excellent analytical skills, strong software engineering skills, a logical approach to problem-solving, and be able to liaise with various stakeholders to understand complex requirements.
The ideal candidate will be a technologist who has a focus on exceptional customer service, striving to leave things better than they were.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and support the end-to-end software development life cycle (SDLC) of systems and applications.
- Write well-designed, testable code and support the configuration of low-code or no-code solutions.
- Recommend viable solutions to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team and reduce technical debt.
- Develop flowcharts and technical documentation to identify requirements and record strategic decisions of product design and functionality.
- Advise and execute the transition of applications to AWS, with a focus on disaster recovery and environment stability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to support the ongoing operations of the environment.
- Perform functional, stress, load, performance, and other types of tests as determined in the planning process.
- Monitor production applications for performance, assist in troubleshooting of application performance issues, and produce dashboards and ad hoc reports.
Essentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, related fields, or equivalent experience required.
- 8 years Vue software development experience.
- 5 years cloud experience, preferably AWS.
- Experience designing and implementing business-critical applications.
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases.
- Experience with software testing best practices and technologies.
- Experience in DevOps and Agile/Scrum.
- Experience in project, source code management, and trouble reporting tools (JIRA, Git).
- Strong ability to document requirements and specifications.
- Experience with secure coding practices preferred.
- Experience with production monitoring tools preferred (Dynatrace).
