Our Product team is growing and looking for an enthusiastic UX/UI Designer to join us! We hire in the following states: AZ, CO, FL, IL, MA, MI, MN, NC, NY, OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, TN. The U.S. Healthcare industry is going through a transformation. Patients want access to better healthcare tools and experiences. In this role, you'll be working on the teams that are being tasked with solving these problems.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate all-round Senior UX/UI Designer who excels at user-centric product development. Combining interaction and visual design skills, you will define the UX and design of our platform. Who are we looking for?

  • We’re looking for a designer that can lead the design process of our patient facing interfaces
  • Identify, research, and drive strategic initiatives that improve the usability of our mobile solutions for our clinician’s patients.
  • Create industry leading user experiences from conception to execution while continually improving existing experiences to optimize our patient engagement
  • Conduct user research and usability studies to gather quantitative and qualitative insights that will inform design decisions
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, our content team as well as other internal stakeholders to develop and iterate upon new concepts and facilitate product execution
  • Is comfortable in a very fast-paced, iterative product development process
  • Advocate for the patients we serve to foster a culture of user-centric design

What do we require?

  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates a deep knowledge of UX design principles and methods, UX research methodologies, prototyping, and rapid experimentation, specifically for mobile experiences
  • A strong understanding of visual design principles (as evident in your portfolio), in particular with regarding to spacing, typography, hierarchy, and usage of color
  • Extensive knowledge of Figma and very large plus if you have experience with Pendo
  • Experience reducing complex problems down to the right balance of simplicity and ease-of-use while meeting user needs
  • Experience contributing to and consuming component-based design systems
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • 5+ years of experience
  • A strategic partner for Product - you think at a high-level about your product area and collaborate closely with your PM and Engineering partners to define the future of the products you work on.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating a vision and aligning stakeholders
  • Thrives with autonomy but cultivates a culture of collaboration by giving and receiving design feedback; someone who consistently shares work with others and engages with other designers’ work
  • Collaborate extensively with the product and engineering teams to ensure every details of feature is designed and thought through and is implemented in a high quality way
  • Self starter who is resourceful, able to act autonomously and manage their work, with no fear of getting their hands dirty or to be the first to tackle a new challenge

Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000

At MedBridge, salary ranges are assigned to a job based on 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within this range is informed by the candidate's skills, capabilities and experience.
